Our multilingual and qualified staff, will offer you the best welcome to Bologna, offering suggestions and assistance about local services, cultural events and festivals, public transports, tours, restaurants, inns and pubs, monuments and museums, walking and bike touring on the famous hills of Bologna.

To reach the parking and enter the historical city centre without getting to the Low Emission Zone, you can enter from Lame Gate (Porta Lame), go through via Ercolani and straight on Piazza Azzarita Square. At the roundabout you turn left on Via Riva di Reno, cross Lame street and continue on Via Riva di Reno untill the CCTV that blocks the cars from the Low Emission Zone. When you see the camera and a lighted label you have to turn left to via Azzogardino. The access to the garage is through the first gate on the left: it’s grey coloured gate about 20 meters from the beginning of the road.

Bed and Breakfast Bologna – Holiday House  “The Seventh Heaven”

The apartment

The unique part of the attic is the outdoor living terrace, over 100 square meters of nice and green garden above the roofs of the red Bologna. A portion of the terrace has a covered veranda with electrical opening and closing, that allows the maximum usability of the outside of the penthouse from April to September due to the external electric heater lamp. Comfortable garden chairs and furnishings complete the solarium with a panoramic view of 180 degrees and provide you an enjoyable relax after a day of shopping or culture visiting Bologna.

The house and the terrace have a free powerful wi-fi connection.
The apartment consists of a bright double room, with a big wooden wardrobe and a king size double bed, a big TV with the flat screen and a DVD player with some successful films in English and Italian available if you want to spend an evening at home.
The more beautiful room consists of a spacious lounge with comfortable sofa bed, that can be opened to increase the number of our guests, depending on the needs of our customers.

The living room has two large and bright patio doors that allow easy access to the terrace, there is also a valuable and large dining table with six chairs, an elegant air conditioner hidden from “The kiss” from Klimt, a wet bar with, a good Italian espresso machine (with espresso and no-caffeine coffee pods, sugars, milk pods) and a water kettle to enjoy our selected Malaisian tea.
Finally, in the living room are available many books about Bologna and its surroundings, guides, maps and plans of Bologna and the city’s history, business cards of restaurants we prefer and unknown to the major tourist circuits.

You will find a fully equipped kitchen for cooking the best Italian dishes: in addition to the microwave, a gas oven, a refrigerator with freezer and mini-bar, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a small closet equipped with soaps and whatever you would need in the kitchen. In the kitchen our guests will find all the mains, salt, oil, sugar, jam, spices, coffee…

DSC_4203The bathroom, next to the bedroom, has a large bathtub, and is adorned with beautiful blue tiles (blue is the main theme of the house) that make a pleasant play of lights. In the bathroom you will find soaps, creams, shampoo etc.

Position, parking and utilities

The Seventh Heaven is a few steps walking from the high speed Train, ten minutes from the airport and, if you come with your car, on request is available a private covered parking located in via Riva di Reno (50mts from the apartment), just outside the restricted traffic zone.

We also notice to our guests a very big and secure public parking named “Apcoa Riva Reno”, reachable from Via Riva Reno and placed outside the Ztl so you can park your car without taking fines and you will be at the apartment within 2 minutes walking.

A few steps from the apartment you will find a PAM supermarket when you will easily buy food and drinks all days from Monday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)

Visit Mercato delle Erbe

mercato-erbe1The other place you can’t miss if you are in Bologna is Mercato delle Erbe, with main entrance in via Ugo Bassi, 2 minuts walking from the apartment.

It’s the best way to discover the cooking tradition of the city: each day the Herb Market opens its doors to the “daily shopping” of Bologna and between the pews you can buy the best fresh products on the market: the organic choice products, doc and dop. The Herb Market is the original heart of the city center, a place where, in addition to trade, you can discover the continuity of Bologna history, closely linked to gastronomy, food and tradition.

After the daily morning market, the light doesn’t swich off in Mercato delle Erbe, renewing each day for aperitifs and dinners, job meetings and lunches: from elaborate dishes to panini and pizza slices, until gorgeous and selected wines, the window of opportunity is very large and well-balanced.
